When & Where?
December 2-4, 2025 at the Chateau Nova Hotel, Yellowknife
Who Should Attend?
We have funding for two people to attend from each community experiencing riverbank erosion. Community governments should choose people who are actively engaged on the erosion issue and will share back what they learn at the workshop, such as:
• SAO or Band Manager
• Community government staff
• Partners from an Indigenous government or organization
We encourage the participation of GNWT and federal partners, researchers, and other partners interested in supporting efforts to address riverbank erosion.
What to Expect?
You can look forward to an engaging and interactive workshop. Through a mix of presentations, small group discussions and planning sessions you will:
• Share your community’s experience and learn from others
• Find support and resources to advance efforts to address erosion in your community
• Determine key actions we can work on together
